Terms & Conditions to book Divine Lavish Studios Event Space
Thanks for your interest in hosting your private event with us. Please see summary of terms to use venue. Effective May. 1, 2023
Nonrefundable retainer to reserve venue:
• – %50 of the venue with DECOR amount –
• – %20 of the venue ONLY
• Venue cannot be reserved without confirmed payment and signing venue agreement.
• Current government ID will be required to reserve venue.
• Person reserving venue must be 25 years and older.
Incidental deposit
• $250 incidental deposit will be added to your final bill. This will be returned within 5 days after your event. Returned when venue and its equipment/supplies are returned without damage, no overtime use of space, and violation of venue terms
Sales tax
MA sales tax of 6.625% will apply to the venue rental total.
Cancellation and payment of balance:
• If you must cancel your event, please ensure you do at least 6 weeks before event. You will only lose the non refundable retainer fee without paying the remaining venue balance.
• Any cancellation less than 6 weeks will require full payment of the venue balance.
• If you have to reschedule your event, be sure to let us know before the 6 weeks mark. Rescheduling fees will apply.
Payment Methods:
• Initial payment: Zelle, Cash App, Venmo and Credit Card.( Visa, Mastercard, Discover Only) Note: A 3.5% credit card processing fee will be added to the payment.
• Final payment – Zelle, Cash App. Venmo.
• Note: Credit Card payments will no longer be accepted for final payments
Final payment:
• Due 30 days before your event. If you book your event less than 30 days to your event, all venue fees will be due on reserving venue. Please pay on time to avoid late payments.
Not allowed on our venue premises:
• No smoking or vaping onsite and on venue’s grounds/patios and in front of the building.
• No glitter or confetti.
• No use of tape on venue walls.
• No real flames except for warming food and candles for the event cake. Floating candles allowed as long as they are not exposed flames and in a container.
• No helium air balloons allowed in our location due to our high ceilings. Regular balloons allowed.

Frequently Asked Questions - DIVINE LAVISH STUDIOS
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD?
Yes. We do not provide any food or beverage. You can bring your home cooked food and serve as long as its not sold publicly. Licensed and insured caterers are allowed to bring food for your event. We will need proof 15 days prior to your event. Food must be pre-cooked before arriving onsite. No onsite cooking. We do not have a kitchen onsite.
IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED?
Water bottles and closed soft drinks are allowed A licensed and insured bartender is required if you have to serve liquor, Venue will accommodate. Venue staff will request a copy of the bartender company before liquor will be allowed on our premises. Alcohol can be served by venues a licensed bartender per Massachusetts Alcohol Law Regulations.
A security guard will be required for all evening events starting after 5:30pm and those serving liquor.
HOW MUCH EXTRA TIME DO I GET FOR DECORATING/SETTING UP FOR MY EVENT?
Your setup time is part of your hour time block to use the space. There is no extra time for setup outside of the time block you have since we have 2 events in a day. Additional time may be available for purchase. Please inquire by contacting us.
AM I REQUIRED TO CLEANUP AFTER MY EVENT?
Yes. You will return the space nice and clean as provided to you unless you opt for our cleaning package of $250. Please let your cool venue contact know you will like to add this service if interested. For weddings, we require the cleaning fee to be added so the married couple does not have to clean up after their wedding reception. Breakdown instructions will be provided to you in your final communication before your event.
CAN I SELECT MY OWN UNIQUE HOURS OUTSIDE OF THE DIVINE LAVISH STUDIOS TIME BLOCKS?
We have two blocks of times on each day from 10:00am to 3:30pm and any and any between 5:30pm to 11:59pm Any time requested outside of that range may require a full day buyout since it cuts into the two blocks of time.
DO YOU PROVIDE DECOR? HOW DO I BOOK IT?
Yes. We do offer decor services for many of our events. We do require you to first book the venue so your date is reserved then you can email us to discuss decor add ons.
